Below is a step-by-step online guide to verify if an individual or business is legally authorized to operate in South Africa. You can confirm your status by following the steps outlined below:
- Go to the website https://digitalservices.psira.co.za
- If you are an individual officer, enter your ID or PSiRA number. If you are a business, enter the registered business name or the company’s PSiRA number.
- Complete captcha and click search
- Verification status will be displayed.

How to Check PSiRA Verification Using Your ID Number
One can simply check its grade using a South African ID number. Here is how:
- Go to the official website https://psiraverification.co.za/
- Click on “Online Verification” section
- Select the option “Search by ID number.”
- Enter your South African ID number
- Solve the CAPTCHA to prove you are human
- Click Search/Submit button
To check your registration status or PSiRA grade, you can call the PSiRA customer care service at 0861333850 and provide your ID number. If available, you may also need to give your PSiRA number, reference number, or application number. The agents will confirm your registration status for you.
